What analytics measures
With your permission, analytics measures page visits, broad referral sources, contact-button clicks, use of the three interactive tools, research-link clicks and deliberate viewing of the homepage film. Google may also process browser, device and approximate geographic information. These reports help Michael Mrochen understand which content visitors find useful.
Our custom events do not send names, email contents, project descriptions, archive search text or slider values. Page query strings and fragments are excluded from the page addresses we send. A contact click is a measure of interest, not proof that an enquiry was sent.
Cookies and Google
Analytics uses Google’s _ga cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. This site sets a 180-day cookie lifetime. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration. Google Analytics is provided by Google; you can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Withdrawing consent
Choose Decline analytics in Cookie settings to stop measurement. This removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to remove the analytics script. Previously collected data is not deleted by changing this browser preference.
Other website activity
The website host processes requests needed to deliver pages and media. Analytics preferences do not disable that essential operation. Links to publications, social profiles and other external websites lead to services with their own privacy practices. The email links open your email application.
