What happens when CXL exposure becomes very short?

Experiments in porcine corneas showed that very high irradiance and very short exposure could reduce the biomechanical effect. These were ex vivo findings.

A prospective multicentre study followed presbyopia allograft outcomes to four years. Of 101 treated patients, 71 attended at four years; three early explants were reported.
